So far the cool foot bath with the peppermint oil has been the best. I tried the mineral ice but could not deal with how it made my feet feel sticky lol. They are getting better. Now when they get cold I don't complain .
Sometimes my feet feel like they are burning, but on the tops not the bottoms. I can't stand to have anything touch them. I hate socks and shoes, and I also sleep with one or both feet uncovered at night. Even rubbing a hand across the tops is painful. I always assumed it was from diabetes?
Thank you so much for your replies! I am so glad to know that I am not alone. I have a pair of crocks flip-flops and a pair of regular crocks with the holes that I wear as much as I can. I hate having to put socks on or my tennis shoes lol. I am going to try some of that mineral ice. Thanks for the suggestions!!
I don't have hot feet, per se, but for some reason, I hate to have my feet covered. My husband thinks it's funny that no matter how cold the room is, I always have at least one, if not both, feet sticking out from under the covers.
But then, despite the fact that I have good circulation, my feet tend to be cold.
I've found that Crocs sometimes help with this, while still giving my feet some support. Since they're full of holes, they breathe very nicely, and the silicone is nice and light so my feet don't feel weighed down.
I have the same problem, as do most members of my family with "hot" feet. It doesn't matter what the temperature or climate is like, none of us like wearing socks or slippers or anything like that. I mentioned it on a doctor's visit too once and he didn't really have any suggestions for me, so medically I guess I'm ok! It's just really annoying!
Just keep doing what you are doing or take suggestions from here to stay cool I would say! Know at least, you're not alone with your hot tootsies! LOL!
I'm the same way, nice to know I'm not alone! I don't use socks and opt for slide on type shoes, with as much open as possible. And just clogs in the winter with a stacked sole to keep me above the snow. If it's really deep, some of those breathable sneakers, but still no socks. I detest hot feet, and I hate sock-bumps under my toes, lol.

I think the mineral ice would be easier to apply and last longer. I use it when my feet ache and it's so cooling and soothing. You just reminded me, my niece's baby has hot feet, too..she can't stand to have socks or shoes on her feet, even in the winter.
Lisa, I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one with hot tootsies! LOL Even when I was little and my parents tucked me in at night, they knew not to cover my feet with my blanket, because I complained that they got too hot. I'm sorry to say that I have yet to find a solution. If they start getting too warm, I usually turn on a fan or roll up my pant legs (only at home, of course). I'll try the mineral ice--how is it different from the ice already in my freezer?
