For the house I buy those cinnamon brooms they sell around Fall. They smell so good and are a nice accessory. The smell lasts for a few months, though it is strongest in the first month.
I love the smell of fresh rain. There are some great oils to use in a crock these days, they make the whole house smell heavenly. I also like the ocean scents they have out. At Christmas time, I use apple cinnamon.
I received a rather large reed diffuser as an exchange Christmas gift. I put it in my den a couple of months ago and it really permeates the house. Sometimes I can smell the amber scent upstairs. I will look into other scents and these last so much longer than the plug in oil refills.
I don't know how I missed this topic! I love scents!
Apple cinnamon for the autumn and winter is what I burn candles for in the house, but in the spring and summer, I want a lighter, cleaner scent - Citrus Sage is a great one for the warmer months, it's not cloying at all.
I think I have an affinity for the lighter, crisper scents too. Cucumber Melon, I like because it isn't too sweet, but always smells clean. And I really like either Juniper, because it's very crisp, almost sharp, but mellows out over time.
Does anyone use those reed dispersers for scenting the home?
I've been wearing Victoria's Secret Pink since they released it when I was 14. I love how delightfully floral it is. I've tried finding another scent that I like as much and that I wear as well, but I really think I've found my signature scent.
I do love Bath and Body Works' Moonlight Path, too! I use the cream body wash as shaving cream and use the lotion on my legs after I shave. The scent's not overpowering, and since I usually shower at night, there's still a hint of scent left when I wake up in the morning.
I have two favorite scents - one is my mother's perfume, Jontue, because it always reminds me of home.
The other is an old, old Avon fragrance that they occasionally feature some times - Hawaiian White Ginger. It's light but a little spicy too. I love it!
I'm such a sucker for scent... my nose is sensitive, and anything that smells good is almost intoxicating to me. I don't like heavy scents, so a really nice body wash or body splash is all I really want - I like the cucumber melon scent as it's light, clean and not too perfumey!

Lol, jenna,
My all time favorite for me is Estee Lauder for Men, I thought I was the only weirdo that did that I also LOVE bergamot. I bought some candles years ago at one of those in home shows and it is my absolute fragrance, it is clean and crisp. I buy essential oil and fragrance some base oil myself because I'm not crazy about the real sweet scents and notes some perfumers combine with bergamot.
I have a hard time finding anything I like, currently I just use a Vanilla Body Spray. But would like to get something that will last a little longer then a body spray. I tend to wander over to the perfume area and test 2-3 different one's. I don't dare try more at the same visit. My nose would be on overload I do find a lot of mens cologne that smell so good, but I just have the hardest time to find something for me. Go figure!
